About Our Trust
Prabhat Charitable Trust a non profit organisation has been registered in 2011 under the public trust act, 1950. From its inception the organisation has been serving for daily wage labourers (naka Workers) in Navi Mumbai for their complete health, education, protection and care.
Prabhat Charitable Trust believes that every human being has right to live life with pride and dignity. Prabhat Trust’s founder aims to provide quality eye care and health access to unorganised sector labourers (Naka Kamgars) in Navi Mumbai.
We do provide services to naka labourers such as free eye screening of naka workers, free spectacles , if required cataract surgery of them, complete health check up and if required further mobility of them to specialisation sectors too
As a support to their families we do provide morning healthy snacks i.e food grains, sprouts etc.to them
Our other major work to serve society is Organ Donation Awareness and work related to it. Our trust is associated with:

Prabhat Services
Free Eye screening of Naka Workers
On wheel service; we provide free eye screening to naka workers on nakas in Navi Mumbai. Our medical van visits to Naka on rotational basis and conduct eye screening of the Naka labours. Further referral to required services in the Navi Mumbai area.
Spectacles to Naka Workers
We celebrate the birthdays of Prabhat’s well-wishers, supporter and donors along with the Naka labours to spread the happiness and health together with Naka labours with the eye screening we give them free spectacles to Naka labours.
Cataract Surgery
We offer free cataract surgery to naka labours above 40 years of Age with an eye defect. We provide free cataract surgery to the naka workers who can not afford hospital charges in a city like Navi Mumbai instead of that they keep it untreated. Every year around _____ cataract surgery we conduct at Prabhat Trust on to Naka Workers and other down trodden sections of society.
Food Grain to Needy Families
We provide free food grain to naka worker in need who does not have work for at least for the last one week. We give packaged food grain to Naka labourers who do have work from the last one week.
Annual Health Checkup of Labours
We offer full body check up to naka workers from Naka labours. As we have observed that less than 2% of naka workers do their full-body check on their own; unless they fall sick or succumb to any illness.
Prabhat Activities
Tula daan
A Tula Daan is weighing activity of a person on the occasion of their birthdays where they weighed with grains, jaggery, rexin bags, note books, medicine etc. (weighing with one item or more at a time). The weighted material later on distributed during Naka Visits to the needy workers. A worker who has registered with us for annual check at the Community Centre in Ghansoli. The concept of Tula Daan is a brain child of Dr.Prashat Thorat, President of Prabhat Trust.
Netra Vaari
Every year on the occasion of Ashadhi Vari Prabhat Trust conducts health camp for devotees who will-fully visit to Pandharpur by walking. Based on the health check up on the spot free spectacle medicine given to the devotees every year.
Organ Donation
Organ donation is a core activity of the Prabhat Trust from Ganesh festival to Navratri, including other small festivals. We celebrate it by making awareness and campaigning on the importance of organ donation and networking for the same.
